We drove 2,000 kilometers in 8 days. Our route was very spontaneous. But our first stop is a place that I made a note of while watching the movie “Long Way Round” with Ewan McGregor. Interestingly, when I knew nothing about the United Kingdom, I knew that Scotland was here. Honestly, it was the only place I wanted to visit on this island. Then “Outlander” got to me, and I completely and utterly fell in love with these rugged mountain men in kilts and their history.
